What is the Kore Grid Power-Saving Box?
It's a small plug-in device designed to reduce electrical losses in your home and, in some cases, help improve power factor — so more of the electricity you pay for does useful work. Just plug it into a wall socket; no installation or permanent changes are needed.
How much could I save on my power bill?
The average NZ household spends around $216 a month on power. Even a 5–15% reduction in waste can save $180–$720 a year depending on your bill. Actual savings depend on your appliances, heating, hot water, insulation, electricity plan and usage — our savings examples are illustrative, not guaranteed.
I'm renting — can I still use these products?
Yes. The power-saving box simply plugs into a wall socket and the portable and trolley ESS units need no fixed installation, so you can take them with you when you move.
Which energy storage system is right for me?
The SHCS-1000 suits portable backup and small loads, the SHCS-3000 and SHCS-5000 trolleys cover larger household loads, and the stackable All-in-One ESS scales from 32kWh to 96kWh for whole-home storage. Contact us and we'll recommend the right capacity for what you need to power.
Do the storage systems work with solar panels?
Yes — every unit has integrated MPPT solar charging. The SHCS-1000 accepts up to 550W of solar input, the SHCS-3000 up to 4500W, and the SHCS-5000 up to 6000W.
Do you deliver across New Zealand?
Yes, we deliver nationwide. Delivery timeframes and costs depend on your location and the size of the system — see our Shipping & Delivery page or ask us for a quote.
Can I pay with Afterpay?
Yes — you can pay in four interest-free instalments with Afterpay. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
What warranty do the products carry?
The stackable All-in-One ESS carries a 3+2 year warranty and its LiFePO4 cells are rated for 6000 cycles at 75% depth of discharge. Warranty details for other units are confirmed with your quote.
What is your returns policy?
